About Us

Bamboo House India, a Hyderabad-based social enterprise founded in 2006, began with a simple idea: building homes with bamboo. Today, it has evolved into a movement that partners with marginalized communities — including refugees, prisoners, sex workers, juveniles, survivors of child sexual abuse, and marginalized women — to transform natural and discarded materials into homes, furniture, and lifestyle products and many more Through sustainable housing, upcycled creations, and green livelihoods, we prove that compassion, innovation, and circular economy principles can drive lasting social and environmental change.
